I was born in Tala, Sabangan, Mountain Province. A full-blooded Igorot.
I’m married to my soulmate, Mary Joy Advincula-Tayaban.
We are blessed with five awesome kids, namely, JJ, JM, Jaq, Jake, Jme, and baby Jonathan who has since became our family’s guardian angel.
Ever since I got married, I took my role as a husband and father with unwavering dedication and commitment. I put my family first above all other considerations, including my jobs. As a result, I never missed any of my kids’ birth, including all the prenatal and postnatal checkups.
I was born with a green thumb. It was the skill I mastered early on.
I love sipping a cup of brewed coffee and nibbling on some dark chocolate, so I put those hands into great use and planted Arabica coffee and cacao trees in my hometown high up in the mountain.
I am a practitioner of the Law of Attraction based on the Bible verse, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened” (Matthew 7:7-8, NIV). I used it as an exercise in manifesting the things and events that make me feel good.
Me and my wife know that we are the best teachers; that life gives the best curriculum; and the world is the best school. It is for these reasons that we homeschool our children and give them wonderful experience that will last a lifetime.
